Prayer for God's Will
This is a prayer of surrender, asking to want what God wants, and to trust His will above your own.
Father, I want my life to follow Your will, not just my own. Quiet the loud demands of what I want long enough to hear what You want. Where my desires are good, confirm them; where they lead me astray, gently redirect me. Give me the courage to pray, as Jesus did, not my will, but Yours be done. I trust that Your plans for me are better than my own, even when I do not understand them. Lead me, and give me a willing heart to follow. Amen.
