Prayer Against Temptation
When temptation pulls hard and your own willpower feels weak, this is a prayer for strength to stand and for the way out God promises to provide.
Faithful God, I am facing a temptation that feels stronger than my own resolve. I need Your help. Give me strength to stand firm, and open my eyes to the way of escape You have promised. Guard my heart and my mind, and turn my desires toward what is good. When I am weak, be my strength; when I am tempted to give in, remind me of who I want to become. Thank You that You are faithful and will not let me be tempted beyond what I can bear. Lead me out, and keep me close. Amen.
