Prayer for Forgiveness
When guilt sits heavy and you long to be made clean, this is a prayer of confession, to come honestly to God and receive His mercy.
Merciful Father, I come to You honestly, aware of where I have fallen short. I have done wrong, and I am sorry. I ask for Your forgiveness, not because I deserve it, but because You are faithful and full of mercy. Wash away my guilt and cleanse my heart. Free me from the shame I have carried, and help me to forgive myself as You forgive me. Give me the strength to turn from what is wrong and to walk a better way. Thank You for Your grace that meets me here. Amen.
