The arrival of a child is a wonder and a gift. This is a prayer of thanks and blessing over a new baby and the family welcoming them.
Giver of life, thank You for the precious gift of this new baby, wonderfully made by Your hands. What a miracle this little one is. I ask Your blessing over their life from this very first day. Keep them healthy and safe, and let them grow surrounded by love. Give strength and rest to the parents, and patience for the long days and nights ahead. May this child come to know You, and may their life be filled with Your goodness. Thank You for entrusting such a treasure to this family. Amen.
