Prayer for a Sick Friend
When someone you care about is unwell, you long to help and often feel helpless. This is a prayer to lift a sick friend into God's healing care.
Merciful God, I bring my friend before You today, for they are sick and in need of Your touch. You are the healer of body and soul, and I ask You to bring healing and relief. Ease their pain, strengthen their body, and comfort their heart in the hours that feel long. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses who care for them, and surround them with people who love them. Where I cannot be, let Your presence be. Hold them close, and let them feel that they are not alone. In Your mercy, restore them. Amen.
