Prayer for Healing
When illness or pain weighs on you or someone you love, it can be hard to find the words. This is a prayer for healing, for the body, the heart, and the spirit.
Loving God, I come to You in need of Your healing touch. You know the pain I carry, in my body and in my heart, and nothing is hidden from You. I ask that You would restore what is broken, calm what is anxious, and renew my strength day by day. Where there is illness, bring wholeness. Where there is fear, bring peace. Give wisdom to those caring for me, and patience to me as I wait. I trust that You are near, even now, and that Your love holds me through every hour. Whatever the outcome, keep me close to You. In Your mercy I place my hope. Amen.
