Prince of Peace, my heart is troubled and the world around me feels heavy. I ask for Your peace, the kind that quiets the soul even when nothing has changed. Still the storms within me. Release me from the burdens I was never meant to carry, and help me to trust that You are in control. Let Your peace guard my heart and my mind today. Where there is conflict, make me a peacemaker; where there is turmoil, be my calm. I set down my striving and rest in Your presence. Thank You for being my peace. Amen.
