Prayer for My Father
This is a prayer to give thanks for your father and to ask God's blessing, strength, and protection over his life.
Heavenly Father, thank You for my dad and for the ways he has cared for me. Bless him and watch over him today. Give him strength for his work and his burdens, and rest when he is weary. Guard his health and his heart. Reward the quiet sacrifices he has made, and let him feel appreciated and loved. Draw him close to You. Help me to honor him, to forgive where forgiveness is needed, and to show him my gratitude while I can. Surround him with Your peace and Your favor. Amen.
