Prayer for Patience
Waiting is hard, and patience does not come easily. This is a prayer for a steady heart and grace to trust God's timing.
Patient God, I confess that I am tired of waiting, and my heart grows restless. Teach me patience. Slow me down when I want to rush ahead of You, and calm me when frustration rises within me. Help me to trust that Your timing is good, even when it is not mine. Give me grace with the people around me, and gentleness when I am worn thin. Let me learn to wait well, resting in the truth that You are working even when I cannot see it. Grow patience in me like fruit. Amen.
