Evening Prayer
As the day ends, this is a prayer to give thanks, lay down your worries, and rest in God's safekeeping through the night.
Lord, as this day comes to a close, I thank You for carrying me through it. For every kindness, every provision, and every moment I did not notice Your hand, I am grateful. Forgive me for where I fell short today, and wash it away as I rest. Quiet my mind now, and release the worries I am tempted to carry into the night. Watch over me and those I love as we sleep, and let me wake renewed for tomorrow. I lay down in peace, for You alone make me dwell in safety. Into Your hands I commit my rest. Amen.
