Easter Prayer
Easter is the heart of our hope, that Christ is risen. This is a prayer of thanks and celebration for the resurrection.
Risen Lord, on this Easter day we rejoice, for the tomb is empty and You are alive. Thank You for conquering sin and death, and for the new life we have because of You. Fill our hearts with the hope that nothing, not even death, can separate us from Your love. Where we have grown weary or discouraged, breathe fresh life into us. Let the joy of the resurrection rise up in us today. You are risen, and because You live, we too shall live. We praise Your name. Amen.
