New Year Prayer
A new year invites us to begin again. This is a prayer to thank God for the year behind and to place the year ahead in His hands.
Everlasting God, as one year ends and another begins, I pause to give You thanks. Thank You for carrying me through all that is behind, the joys and the trials alike. As I step into this new year, I place it in Your hands. Guide my path, and let Your grace go before me. Where I have failed, give me a fresh start; where I have hope, help it grow. Let this year draw me closer to You. Your mercies are new every morning, and I trust them to be new again. Lead me on. Amen.
