Prayer for a New Home
Moving into a new home is a fresh beginning. This is a prayer of thanks and blessing over a new house and all who will live in it.
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of this new home. As we settle in, we ask You to bless it and everyone who will live here. Let this be a place of peace, warmth, and love, where Your presence dwells. Protect it from harm, and fill it with laughter, rest, and kindness. Where we build our lives here, help us to build them on You. May all who enter feel welcomed, and may this house be a shelter and a blessing for years to come. Except You build the house, we labor in vain, so we build it with You. Amen.
