Prayer for Protection
This is a prayer asking God for protection, a shield around you and the people you love, in your home, your work, and your coming and going.
Lord, I ask for Your protection over me and those I love. Be a shield around us, a refuge in every storm, and a guard over our coming and going. Keep us safe from harm seen and unseen, and let no fear rule our hearts. Surround our home, our work, and our travels with Your peace. When danger draws near, be our defender; when we are weak, be our stronghold. I trust that You are watching over us, and that nothing can separate us from Your love. Into Your keeping I place all that is dear to me. Amen.
