Prayer for a Loved One with Cancer
Few words land as heavily as a cancer diagnosis. This is a prayer for someone facing it, for healing, courage, and the presence of God through every step.
Faithful God, this diagnosis has shaken us, and I bring my loved one before You. You are greater than any illness, and nothing is beyond Your reach. I ask for healing, complete and lasting, in Your mercy. Give strength for the treatment ahead, courage for the hard days, and rest for the weary body. Steady their heart with a peace that does not depend on the news. Guide the hands and minds of the doctors. Walk with them, and with all of us who love them, through every step. We will not be afraid, for You go with us. Amen.
