Prayer for Sleep
When your mind will not switch off and sleep won't come, this is a prayer to release the day and rest in God's peace.
Lord, the day is done and I need rest, but my mind will not be still. Quiet my racing thoughts and loosen my grip on the worries I am carrying into the night. I hand them all to You, for You never sleep and You watch over me. Calm my body, ease my breathing, and let me lie down without fear. Fill this room with Your peace, and grant me sweet, restoring sleep. Let me wake renewed and ready for tomorrow. I rest now in Your care. Amen.
